RAM upgrade question for Alienware Area 51 Desktop

Hi, I am about to purchase an Alienware Area 51 - http://www.dell.com/ca/p/alienware-...re-area51-r2#overrides=daa51r2_f_h2e:3~32G4X8

It only comes with 16GB RAM at 2133mhz. They want another $300 to make it 32GB. Would you choose this option or wait until I get it and sell the RAM and get 36GB of ~3000mhz?

My first question would be ... do you really need all that RAM?

I personally am a power user so i use 16GB of RAM and even if i have a couple of photoshop tabs running as well as a couple of chrome tabs + gaming it never seems to go above 8 GB on the usage. Unless you really know for sure that the program you are using will use more than 16 GB of RAM it would be a waste of money. If you are gaming only anything above 8 GB would be a waste unless you are a power user with a lot of programs multi tasking.

My RAM is 1600 Mhz 2x8 GB Team Elite Plus CL 11 but i overclocked it to 2133 Mhz on 1.59V

However if you really do know that you need it this is an excellent option:

Overclocking this to around 2133 Mhz would be super easy and the latency on this RAM is excellent.
