Question RAM usage too high while gaming causes lag

Hi, so my ram usage picks up to 95% while gaming. It happens with any game and it lags constantly.

My specs:
ASRock H310M-HDV
i5-9400F
ADATA Spectrix D40 DDR4 8gb 2666Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6gb

that is to be expected when gaming, the minimum is becoming to be 16gb, RDR2 takes 12gb

Hi! thanks for your reply.
It happens also with low spec games such as FIFA 20 or fortnite. A few months ago this didnt happen. I could play these games just fine.

Do you have chrome open or other things while playing

I've tried it with other things opened while playing and with only the game running aswell. In neither times it worked fine.

If you run win 10 you can search youtube for "empty standby list". Win 10 is bad when it comes to mem management.
I have 32GB and had stutters while playing pubg and gta5, this fixed it for me.

Well... I don't know what happened but suddenly my pc stopped working: Win 10 didn't boot no more. Previously i'd tried the "empty standby list" solution and i think it worked, but I could test it by gaming only for a few minutes one night. Then I went to sleep and the next day windows didn't wanna run no more.
I reinstalled windows today and i'm downloading my games right now. Soon i will post if the stutters persist.

It's all working just fine again. The mystery will remain nevertheless...
