Dell system was working with 2 monitors one in the extended desktop mode. Had to replace the hard drive and reload software and now the monitors show the same desktop. Using [ati 300 card]. Both monitors show in the setup but will not let me set to 1 or 2.

Just to update, in case anyone else is experiencing a similar issue - after much googling and research, I found the solution on the Intel forums (http://communities.intel.com/thread/4023?start=30&tstart=0). Oddly enough, it
was Sypware Doctor 6.0.
