uhm, dude, you know with who you're talking about here?... 😀
not to offend you but you're definitely at the wrong line..
all i wanted to teach that poster here is that he showed us something, and we all said "neat, but it doesn't bother us" and he could not stop "look at me, look at it, its wonderful, look, look!!!!".
THAT is annoying
and that card is not to buy. it is not for any use. it is by todays standards not at all good.
could've been quite something those days.. then again, all pre-floatingpoint hw _WAS_ just garbage for any real shading. working enough with it to be able to state such a claim. ask carmack how he loves to work with gf1..gf4 fixed function pixel shading with 9bit precicion per color and -1..1 range. how he loves the resulting bandings in doom3, the unability to renormalize in the combiners, the impossibility to do real simple but real working specular, and all..
yes i'd prefer that rampage possibly over my old gf2mx. IFF it would be to buy, IFF it would've been as cheap, IFF driver support, espencially for opengl wich i mainly work with would've been good, and IFF it would just have been a good card.
none of that IFF's are true. or provable to be true.
i don't actually care about 3dmark, akibaboy. just to know..
