GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50Ghz
So, I have a problem with my some random Steam games in which I've tried seemingly everything to fix it. All games and everything on my computer ran fine at the maxed out FPS, no problem. Then one day, I moved my computer over to the living room, and without thinking plugged the HDMI into the Motherboard instead of the GPU.
After plugging my HDMI back into its proper placement, my steam games Rocket League and 20XX both run at about 20 FPS, but PUBG runs at 60 FPS fine. My graphics card's drivers are fully updated. Rocket League is fully updated... Using my NVIDIA GPU Activity it shows that Rocket League just isn't using my GPU whatsoever, but PUBG is for some reason. I believe RL and 20XX are running from my CPU.
While trying to fix the issue I figured I might have needed to update Windows 10, since I've been putting that off for quite some time. During the update it told me it would need to uninstall Steam (as well as every downloaded game) in order to complete the update, which I figured meant I've found the solution. After re-downloading Steam and RL it still only runs at 20 FPS.
I'm unable to go into Manage 3D Setting in NVIDIA Control Panel and just select a preferred graphic processor, the option isn't there. I'm unable to right click RLI went into Device Manager and disabled my CPU, hoping it would force RL to run off the GPU, but it didn't run off either and was giving me less than 1 FPS.
ANY help is greatly appreciated, if you need more info about my hardware or anything to try to solve this problem, just ask and I'll provide. Thanks in advance.
