Random PC Shutdowns

I build my first pc last weekend and I am having two problems that I do not know how to fix.
1) The ethernet on my motherboard does not get a connection. MSI z87 G45 killer e2200 network card
2) Becuase of 1 i am using a USB powered wireless internet adapter. However whenever i take out the usb, my computer randomly shuts down and restarts.

Does anyone know a cause of this or how to prevent this or also for my ethernet fix? Thanks! .

Did you install all the drivers which came with the motherboard?
Can you also list your full system specifications please including your PSU?

Yes, I installed all the drivers that came on the motherboard disc.

CPU: Intel 4770k
Cooler: hyper 212 evo
RAM:Corsair Vengeance 16gb
PSU: Corsair hx750
GPU: GTX 770 (will be delivered tomorrow then i will install it)
SSD: Samsung evo 120gb
HDD: Seagate Barracude 2TB
Case" Corsair 500r
