hi,
I've been having the following problem for a long time:
a PC with a gigabyte motherboard, intel core-i7, 1TB SATA disk running Win-8.1 randomly reboots during normal operation after which it displays a bios message that no boot media is detected.
at which point I have to disconnect the power cable (pressing the power button is not enough) and after reconnecting the Pc starts normally.
I've tried modifying some BIOS settings, specifically UEFI settings but haven't seen any difference.
Since it happens randomly usually after many hours, I've come to live with the situation :-(
any clue as to what might be causing the problem?
