Recently, I bought and upgraded my ram to 2x8 gb 3200mhz and overclocked it to 3200mhz with 1.36v and 18 20 20 20 38 timings (although the suggested timings and voltage is 16 20 20 20 40 and 1.35v, i changed it due to this same issue).
I tested my RAM for any errors or instability, ran HCI memtest and reached 800% with no errors at all. Tested it again using the bootable memtest 86 and got no errors in that either. However, when I play Roblox and used an FPS unlocker, at times, random fps drops comes in like from 120 fps to a sudden 15-20 fps for a few seconds then it just returns back to 120 fps. With other games however, I experienced it but it was when the timings and voltage were set according to what the RAM itself recommends.
Is this a RAM overclocking issue or the RAM itself? Could it be something else? I do not know what is really wrong, so far no instability issues have come up in terms of the RAM overclocking, no BSODs, blackscreens, graphics issues (even that issue was fixed in my old RAM in where my device would just suddenly freeze and that AMD detected a driver issue) or anything, just that annoying fps drop that makes me feel like something really is wrong.
