Well, i installed a couple of games (apex legends, Valorant ,and CS GO) so they run fine, but i saw a system.conf yesterday on my desktop, I've no information on what that is but i was curious and deleted it from the PC (shift + delete).

Then yesterday i played a match of Valorant and two of apex legends, this morning i see the system.conf file yet again here, looking into it's properties, there's no app that can open the file, opening it via notepad just shows a blank file (no nothing) and the file is 0 bytes in itself.

What is the file use if it's empty? And should i be concerned?

My specs:-
i5 9300H
GTX 1650
16 GB DDR4 2666MHz

[Acer Nitro 5 AN517-51]

Additional information, it said it was created on 9:47 yesterday, i guess that's roughly the time I started Valorant, so could it be a file related to the game?
I am experiencing a similar problem with my laptop also equipped with an NVIDEA GTX 1650 graphics card and i5-10300h 8GB ram Lenovo-Ideapad Gaming.
There is a system.conf file which repeatedly is displayed on my desktop and similar to your issue it also is created at roughly the same time as valorant is run.
