Hi everyone,

So i recently build a new PC, and from the get go i had random USB disconnect sounds.
Couldn't figure out what was the cause of it, tried flashing my BIOS, reinstalled all the USB hubs, tried unplugging one device at a time. But nothing came up with any result.
So i tried USBLogView, which instantly showed me who the culprit was:
The infamous
Port_#0013.Hub_#0002
So naturally i tried to disable/uninstall it but!!!!! Every 10 minutes it reinstall it self.

From USBLogView:
Event Type Event Time Device Name Description Device Type Drive Letter Serial Number Vendor ID Product ID Vendor Name Product Name Firmware Revision USB Class USB SubClass USB Protocol

When reinstalled, it comes with the message: ITE Upgrade Mode has been installed and ready to go.
I have tried searching ITE Upgrade Mode on google, with little to no info found.
Anyone got any idea what this is and why it is happening? And also why it is happening with almost exact 10 min intervals.

Solution
(Integrated Technology Express (aka ITE) is the manufacturer of the USB driver; "ITE Upgrade Mode has been installed", simply means the USB driver you uninstalled was reinstalled. Random USB disconnect sounds are usually the result of a loose connection, either with the USB connection, or in the USB device itself. Rather than unplugging one device at a time , unplug all the devices and then plug and unplug one at a time until you hear the disconnect sounds again. If you have any extra devices, like a keyboard or mouse, replace the device you are currently using.

Should maybe have clarified, it has nothing to do with my plugged in devices. The unplug/plug happens every 10 minutes with or without anything plugged in.
