[SOLVED] Raspberry Pi 4 fans?

I have the new Raspberry Pi 4 model.
I have bought a power board also https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VK5L164/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it has a fan on it already connected as i get it today. I got a
Acrylic Case for Raspberry Pi https://www.amazon.com/GeeekPi-Acry...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PDS8S90R18YPGV4BER4V it can with a fan that can be mounted on the top. So, with the power board fan and the fan that came with the case. Will, it hurt to have both fans the case fan and power board fan going at the same time?

Another thing. I looked at one of the images on amazon where i bought the Acrylic Case and it shows that i can connect the fan to the pins two ways. One, the full speed cooling mode and the other way is the quiet cooling mode. So, whicj would be best full speed or quiet cooling speed.

You'll have to get longer stand-offs (or extend the existing ones) to be able to fit the power board.

From what I hear about Pi4 it's a good idea, as long as they're blowing in the same direction 😉

I appreciate your request because it got me thinking about my RPi3+ project. While it works well, without a fan on my desk, I have noticed it has problems in an enclosed cabinet on warm days. I'll be getting a fan.

These things get so hot, I can't believe it. But a cpu sink/fan, a good case with lots of holes and a case fan are doing it for me. I tried using the Pi case with a cpu sink/fan running stock speeds, using it as a desktop and streaming from Plex, O365, perusing the net etc... and that alone put it well over 80. I did have Apache, MSQL and WordPress running but there was no traffic and when I turned all that off it didn't make a difference. So I drilled 40 holes in the case and the temp went down about 4 degrees but was still maxing and slowing down. Then I drilled 57 more and that finally got it sitting at about 75 using it as a basic workstation. But after I overclocked it to just 1750 the temp flew over 80 and it was obvious something else needed to be done. I picked up one of these -

It comes with a fan that had to be mounted outside the case because of the cpu sink/fan I am running from Micro Connectors - https://www.microcenter.com/product/609761/cpu-cooling-fan-for-raspberry-pi

With the vented alloy enclosure, a fan on top of that, a cpu sink/fan and a couple other passive heat sinks, I can get it running stable with cpu 2000, gpu at 650, overv at 5. The cpu temp is hanging at about 68 for heavy use and 50 for just perusing and testing scripts etc... I can even ffmpeg and surf. Plex will jitter if I try that while ffmpeging. Eehhh, can't expect it to do everything
