My laptop Specs:

17 inch 1080p Display

I7 4010HQ 2.5ghz Quad-Core (With Hyperthreading)

GTX 860m 2gb

8gb RAM

1tb HDD

Before I go on a steam game buying rampage on Christmas I kinda want to know my limitations.
What games can I run, at what setting and the FPS I will be getting.

List:
Borderlands- Pre Sequel
Ryse: Son Of Rome
Rust

Any other game I should know about please feel free to tell me.

All the three games you mentioned should run,though conisdering 1080p display.don't expect running em on ultra or anywhere close, I'd settle for medium on that resolution. My GTX 750 Ti being significantly ahead of yours and stock OCed along with the freshest maxwell architecture can only full high with a pleasant performance, on ultra for example CoD ghosts barely drags 20-40FPS.
