Yes GPU is more important in gaming than CPU but some games dont like weak cpu cores they want strong ones one of that games is DayZ which runs on Arma 3 engine. So if you would pair a good GPU with AMD cpu which has weak cores you would get a lot less FPS than with Intel.

Anyway he linked PC with APU, so he wouldnt be able to play those games at playable fps with that PC
