Razer Kraken Pro Lots of Static how do I fix?

I just bought a brand new razor kraken pro but when I try and use the mic my voice is really quite and there is a massive amount of static I have tried everything youtube has said to do but none of it worked please help.

USB or jack plug? Also have you tried installing Razers audio software?
