Y'know, it seems that whenever a company releases a single-purpose device, there are a lot of comments about how it doesn't do all the things that it never was intended to do. If you want a laptop, buy a laptop. This device is intended for portable PC gaming. That's it. If it does that well, then I would call it a success. But if it doesn't run Pro Tools or Vegas, then I don't really consider that a failure. And a small screen is sort of the idea when one is creating a "portable" device.

Cheers.

Its not comparable to anything alienware. First alienware is just a laptop thats priced twice what you could get it for if you take off the alienware name and leave all the hardware the same. Its like saying why would you get that ford taurus when you could get a ferrari, its not the same at all. Second, the Alienware rig is again just a laptop this thing has a very cool keyboard and touch screen. Its smaller size is to make it more portable with a battery life that would be massively longer than the laptops. Whats cool about the razer product is just what you dont get, there is nothing like it.

The thing now is, will it have enough performance for the pricepoint. And whoever said its no good if they dont have games....its a freakin pc. You can play pc games. Which more and more are becoming download sales. I havent bought a game from retail in years on my pc.
