Hello.

First off, let me note that this is my first post on this forum, so incase I've managed to post in the wrong section, please remove or move this post.

Secondly, I choosed Nvidia section due to my current laptop specs, and figured its the gfx card that causes the problems.

Current specs:

Laptop: msi GT663R
CPU: Intel Core i7-720QM processor
VGA: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460M / 1.5GB DDR5
RAM: DDRIII 12GB (4GB*3)
HDD: 1TB

The problem I encounter is when I start almost any game, it will be perfectly smooth and work fine, for about 10 minutes. After that it goes over to a horrible fps drops, and there seems to be nothing I can do to solve this. I've tried to reinstall whole windows, all new drivers (chipset, graphic, directx, etc, etc), but all for nothing.

rstest.com pretty much tells me I can run any game, and I know myself it should be able to handle the game. Not even on lowest possible setting does it work for more then 10 minutes.

I'm currently playing Skyrim, or atleast trying, latest patch and reinstalled.

If anyone have any tips on how to get by this horrible fps drop, please help.

Regards
John G.

Hmm, Iv'e been thinking about myself, but didn't really think there was an issue with it. But you know what; Never hurts to do it anyways :)

Thanks for the reply

Hmm, really odd. Didn't look like it was jammed, or even any trace of dust or dirt that clogged up any fan. But, a cleaning sure solved all the problems.. How stupid I feel for not doing this before reinstalling everything on the computer.

Anyways, thanks alot :)
