So, let me translate this....Its not about act 5, or the crusader, which obviously isn't enough content to justify a $40 price tag. Its about the adventure mode, which recycles existing content, just doesn't force you to follow the quest line....really.....he thinks fixing a mistake is worth $40?You know the saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Its not like $40 is a lot, its the principle. Call me when its $15 and you have a sale. Or quintuple the content to justify the $40 price.

It does when it was fucking advertised to make you buy it in the first place.

I'll have to agree there, I'm 95% sure the back of my collector's edition box stated PvP as a selling point.

Now having said that, was Diablo II's PvP the key to everything? Certainly not, people PvP'd either to experiment with builds in PvP, they did it for a certain "endgame" or for any other various reasons. I found myself in the pool of endgame PvPer's because frankly after the 1000th Baal run you start to find yourself getting bored of beating down an AI rather then another "critically thinking" player.

Bottom line for me, I paid the $100 for the CE. I'm a little hesitant to drop another $40 hoping the game gets better or perhaps what should have been in the game to begin with. I'll reserve judgement for now.

It's like taking a turd, covering it in white chocolate and putting sprinkles on it. It may look appetizing but once you take a big bite its still a turd. The expansion should be free or heavily discounted in my book as it was short the way it was. But you had to replay it it 4 TIMES to finish it so it seemed like forever...ridiculous....

The new patch made the game fun again. It's what made me upgrade from the starter edition and pre order the expansion. Everyone whining now that it's "garbage" just haven't tried it now. Oh well....I'm having fun and from what I can tell, so is everyone else playing it now from chat.

this expansion is quite expensive but the reviews are very positive http://reaperofsoulsguide.com/news/reaper-souls-preview-part-1/

When a game or ad states that a game will have PvP and it dosent its called fraud. So all you gotta do is go back to the store and return the game.Obviously if you dont do that or file a lawsuit, crying in forums will get you nowhere. That Beeing said, people who impusivly buy games like CoD, D3 and similar should see it coming by now.Last 2 games I bought for full price was Deus Ex Human Revolution and Starcraft2.Apart from that, I have not bought a single game at full price since 2007.Quite simply put, Im not spending around 60 dollars for games that are worse than games i bought years ago.I am surprised that more games have not have such poor sales as crysis 3, since nowdays most games look like carbon copies of something else.

He did 8 major patches, that 90% of the purchasers never saw. He is still sticking with always on requirements on what is basically a single player game - for no good reason besides crippling the game. Raper of souls is not worth 2 cents, and he should get slapped for even considering making people pay extra for this steaming pile of crap. I will laugh when the month after it goes on sale their numbers for it are still in the toilet.

So they want us to buy a Faiablo III expansion with 1 extra class, 1 extra chapter and then try sweeten the deal with this for a full price game. No no thx! Sorry Blizzard, perhaps its time to listen what the gamers want... not listen only your shareholders wallets and rob the gamers while doing so!

I waited a year to get D3 got it for $25 on e-Bay, Glad I waited it took no time to get through the game, killed Diablo in a few minutes with a lvl 28 character, It was disappointing, LooT 2.0 has improved the game tremendously but it doesn't justify $40 more dollars at this point... so I'll probably see you in ROS in about a year.

Good thing Path of Exile has free updates. I'll be keeping an eye on Grim Dawn as well.
Grim Dawn is fantastic. They just released their second Act and I think their last class is going to be implemented shortly. It's the only ARPG that I've liked after Diablo II. I highly recommend you getting it. I saw it on steam for 33% off a couple of days ago, but they don't discount it often, probably because it's still only about halfway done (even a little less).

Yes, but I'm waiting for the price to come down first. Also, I'd prefer to buy it as a standalone game. I hate Steam.

I've been playing the alpha of GD also, I really like it I can't wait until it fisnished.I thought Titan Quest was also an excellent game too bad Iron Lore went under.
