We have an ACER Pc in our office that holds all our files. On booting up today received a "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" Message. On checking online we followed instructions to got o BIOS setup and checked that the Hard Drive is the first choice. We were also advised to choose Launch CSM as Always and Disable Secure Boot. However when saving and exiting and the PC rebooted it now just sticks on the startup screen. The enter BIOS and Boot menu options are still there and when selecting those just says Opening BIOS and then stays like that for ages without going into it. Can anyone help?

Solution
What I'd probably try is...

Obtain a USB-SATA dock
Put this drive in it, and attach it to some other PC
Boot up the PC, then turn on the dock
See if you can retrieve any files from it.

Later, worry about replacing this drive or reinstalling the OS or whatever needs fixing.
Right now, the only critical part is your office files on it.
