Hi i am having a huge trouble for reformatting my western digital 320gb blue caviar HDD, when i started to boot up my win xp OS it appears a "reboot and select proper boot device or insert a boot media in selected boot device and press a key"..

my OS is windows XP sp3
motherboard: emx-mcp61d3-iCAFE (i am new in ddr3 maybe there is something to configure in bios)
But my 1st boot is dvd\cd my second boot is HDD, it doesnt show a "press key to boot cd" what should i use to configure in bios.. i already updated my bios.. i have unplug my sata in dvd\cd and plug it again same in my HDD.. and im sure my Hard drive are not corrupted because its still working on windows XP, i just to reformat it for a clean and new copy of OS, Also my DVD\CD is in a good condition because its working when last time i BURN an ISO on it.. Then my OS is not corrupted Because i have tried it in virtualbox and its working too.......
Is anyone Expert there who can help me solve this situation...
i can post a picture of my bios set up if you needed or anything you will ask just to figure this out..... :sarcastic:

Solution
Sounds like your CD is bad. Did you actually test it (boot from it) after making it to make sure the ISO was written properly?

And are you absolutely sure the ISO was a bootable ISO?

Yes sir i am really sure that my ISO is bootable i have tried it in virtual box, and its working...
