if you have all version of windows install ultimate. there is no downside to installing ultimate other then price.

this is better with a ssd. also if you go to micro center you can get the msi Z77A-G41 for $40 after $10 MIR. that would save you $100. i know he loves recommending the samsung ram but unless you know how to overclock them your spending money for slower ram.

If you really want 1.35v(RAM OC makes next to no difference, most of the time the RAM will underclock to 1066/1333 anyways). Corsair makes 1.35v with heatspreaders, I highly reccomend heatspreaders as it will extend your product lifetime by a lot by reducing stress on the chip.

I'd highly suggest a Caviar Black over a Barracuda, Caviar Blacks are not only faster, they have a much lower failure rate and an unbeatable 5-year warranty.
