I recently bought a 780 ti (that is still on its way to me). Now I'm hearing rumors that the 880/870 might be released in August. I bought the 780 ti from newegg and it was under a VGA Replacement Only Return Policy so I can't return it and wait until August. Is there anything I can do or am I stuck with the card?

Thanks.

Rumor roundup:

- The GTX 880/870 will possibly be announced at Gamescon next month.
- The performance of the GTX 8xx will be 20% faster than the GTX 780 Ti.

The GTX 880/870 will hit the stores in November.
The GTX 880 will be based on the GM204 core, corresponding to the GTX 680/770 of the current generation, and will come with 4 or 8 GB of VRAM.

Stick with the 780ti, the 880 wont really be a massive performance improvement over the 780ti anyway. If you're gonna wait for anything might as well wait for the 880ti or whatever they decide to call it
