Question Recommendation for Windows video editor under $50

I need a recommendation for a Windows video editor under $50

For what version of windows? What kind of video are you going to be editing and is this just for light hobby use or something a little more substantial?

Windows 10. I am using OBS Studio to record my screen to make an instructional video on how to install and use a certain program.

I will need the following features in the video editor:

1. Zoom
2. Overlay text
3. Title/Text Slides
4. Speed slowdown

Most software is too expensive and/or has bad reviews from my research

Have you tried Hitfilm Express or DaVinci Resolve?

No I have not used either of those video editors. I will look into those. The reason why I was searching for a paid video editor is because I have had bad experiences with free video editors (i.e. complicated to use, lack of features)

I think Hitfilm express is one of the best and easiest for beginners who don't need advanced features or have trouble with learning curves though.

I'll second the use of Da Vinci Resolve. It's utterly awesome with a great support community.
