Recommendation

This seemed the most logical place to put this. I am trying to buy a laptop to bring to work with for to program on my long tiring breaks and on the road and such. I am using visual c++ 6.0. Now my question is, how powerful of a laptop do I need? I am not looking into doing full based computer games or anything. Im not that far. Im trying to keep this as cheap as possiable also. So im just trying to find someone who might have any kind of advice.

PS: as far as laptop for C++ goes then any wide screen or normal with decent resolution (Super will do, for Ultra you better have good eyes) and nothing biggy as far as CPU goes, PM 1.6 will be just fine. I am buying el cheapo IBM laptops from ebay now days, anything above 1GHz is more than enough for office work these days (beeing working on A30 with SXGA for the past 4 years and don't want anything else for screen and keyboard yet.. even though tried a few, loaded Dell 9300 for example). Nothing beats IBM for comfort of the keyboard and that's what office/coding required in my book.
