Extreme Wattage Calculator says that I need a 600W EVGA Bronze Power Supply!?

PC Part Picker says that it is fine with a Corsair VS 450W, I think that this should be quite adequate too.

You need a good brand 500 watts PSU with at least 24 Amps on the 12 Volt rail.

Pick a PSU from Tier 1 or Tier 2.

My suggestion is the XFX.

The Corsair VS is in Tier 4 and is a decent quality PSU; it is not junk!

Most PSU calculators tend to overstate rather than understate the power requirements; which is a good thing. Even though 500 watts is recommended, you may get by with 450 watts, but that is your decision.

It's hard to find 500 watts. That's why I suggested 550 watts (plenty around this wattage).
