How to recover windows product key after unistalling it from computer.

How did you "uninstall" windows?
Is it a retail copy, store bought OEM or preinstalled OEM version of windows 8?

Then it should be with the packaging or paperwork or email you got when you bought it.

If windows has been removed/formatted and you lost the COA with the product key on it you are out of luck. Windows 8 doesn't do a digital entitlement like 10 does.

if you bought a retail version and you never kept a copy of the key you are out of luck.

since I had managed to upgrade my windows 8 to 10 is there any possibility I can still recover it

If a licensed version of 10 was installed you can just install 10 and it should activate itself based on the systems hardware ID. But if you want to reinstall 8 you would need to buy a new key.
