Question Red CPU LED and Orange DRAM LED on motherboard ?

I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU, fit it all in and everything seemed right but once I power up a red light shows for cpu followed by an orange light for dram, after further digging I found that it’s apparently my cpu fan that’s not working even tho it’s plugged into the right connector, I have a nzxt kraken x62 aio. The same aio was working with my old motherboard and there appears to be no aio pump connector so not sure if it needs one so I’m stuck on what to think, I’ve ordered a new aio so I’ll try that but other than that I’m stuck on what to do, anyone have any other ideas?

GPU: Zotac 2060 Super Amp Extreme 8GB
RAM: Corsair 2 x 16GB 3200Mhz

You state upgrading the motherboard and CPU, what were you on if the specs listed at the bottom of your post is what did you upgrade to?

Corsair gold standard 550w psu
How old is the PSU in your build? Are we looking at an RM x or RM unit?

Which slots are the rams populating on the motherboard? A2 and B2?

with the CPU_FAN being the header you populate from the pump.

I don't' know where you've found that info but lights on the debug LED indicate either a ram or CPU or integrated memory controller issue. Might want to flash the BIOS to the latest and then clear the CMOS and then see if that alleviates the issue.

How would I update when I can’t use the computer? I’m not to good with this sorta thing so bear with, once booted it’s came up with the error message saying it’s my cup fan that’s not been detected. My psu is just the rm version as far as I know, ram is in the 2nd and 4th slot.
I was on a b450 asus motherboard and a RYZEN 7 2700x, I had checked websites before buying to see if they were compatible. Thanks for your response

Just to see if the symptoms change.

Unplug all disk....test.
Use just one stick of ram in slot a2....test.
Try the other stick of ram in slot a2.....test.
Remove the gpu....test.

I’ll try this tonight, I have checked the cpu and it’s perfectly fine and is being recognised, my cpu temp just in the bios is 45 Celsius so I’m not sure whether that’s high and the AIO is cooling it or not.

Just swapped everything round to the original b450 ASUs motherboard with the new cpu and it’s working not sure why the b550 caused issues though.
