[SOLVED] Red CPU Light on MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard

Hi everyone,

I've just re-built my PC with MSI B450 Tomahawk Max mobo and Ryzen 3 1200 processor and I'm getting a solid CPU red light on the boot. Also I'm not getting any signal to my monitor, only black screen. I'm using a HDMI cord which worked fine with the monitor earlier, which eliminates that possibility. I've checked everything is plugged in OK, PSU is good, and I've checked the CPU several times, no bent pins, all seems fine.
I've tried CMOS and bios flashback, and currently, my pc successfully boots, and everything seems to work fine, but it keeps randomly shutting off. Sometimes it boots for a while, sometimes there is this CPU red light and black screen again. I don't know what else could I do.

CPU - Ryzen 3 1200
GPU - GTX 970 4GB
MOBO - MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
RAM - 16GB G. SKILL RIPJAWS V (3200 MHz)

Being as you are sometimes having boot problems, please see this guide and go through every single step first: https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ng-about-post-boot-no-video-problems.1285536/ (a triple check never hurts).

Pay close attention to the CPU placement and bent pins.

Can you also confirm if your RAM is from the same pack and what your PSU make and model is?
