Question Red CPU MB light, No Display, No Peripherals - Please Help

sounds like the processors substrate was a little bowed probly from last user the lga 1700 chips have this issue for whatever reason. the bracket probly straightened it out and has made better contact with the pins.

( reason there not default is intel is lazy to come up for a solution for there own screw ups.)

Well, it seems to have solved the issue, normally I would have seen a BSoD or the diag LEDs on the board crop up by now with 2 sticks.

I will go ahead and mark it as solved, who would have thought a simple bracket could do so much? Saved me buying a new CPU lol

glad its worked. yeah it is rather annoying but sometimes used cpus or intels retention bracket or amds can do this to cpus it seems the cpu pads where just not making good contact with the pins.
