Question Red Dragon K630 RGB not working out of the box

I just bought a Red Dragon K630 RGB Dragonborn 60% Keyboard off Amazon.
I plugged the keyboard in to my win11 PC and it lit up but would type on the screen. Then the lighting shut off and will not come back on and still will not respond to any keystrokes. I followed the manufacturer's troubleshooting and to no effect.
Tried the Red Dragon software and it says no keyboard is attached. All my drivers are up to date.
I plugged it in to my Macbook air and it first pulled up the add keyboard dialog, the keyboard didn't register any keystrokes.
I tried the second USB on the Macbook and it didn't pickup the keyboard at all.
I don't if it's defective or I just not doing the right the thing to get it to work.
Please help

helps reset your keyboard. You can also try FN/FN2 + F8.

To rule out your keyboard being faulty/defective, you might want to hook the keyboard up to a Windows laptop and see if the issue persists. If the problem is seen across your platforms, then I would RMA the keyboard.
