[SOLVED] Reinstalling OS?

So I installed Win 10 in a new ADATA SX8200 Pro 1T when I built my rig a few months back. I made the mistake of starting to install other apps and even games on the same drive so now I have 300G free and it seems like the computer is now chugging. Whenever I type, there is a lag with the words appearing on screen, I have lag on games, and sometimes websites take a while to load. I imagine the best solution is to get another SSD and install the OS there and re-install all apps. Are there any other options? I ran chkdsk and got no errors. Are there any other tools that can help me troubleshoot this or, again, just bite the bullet and reinstall OS in a separate drive? note: I upgraded to Win 11

Solution
If these are Steam games, you can relatively easily move them to a different drive.

Get a 500GB SSD and move 2-300GB of games to that.

Thanks RARRAF, that's what I thought. Are there any recommendations as to the next drive for OS? I was looking at the Samsung 980 PRO PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD M.2 on 250 or 500 versions
