Reinstalling Windows, difference between recovery and fresh install?

I want to reinstall Windows and I'm just curious about these two options. Is there a difference between using http:// this method and using the "Remove everything and reinstall Windows" option in the Windows settings? I guess my questions that simple. Thanks

If you haven't had a major issue , I would use Remove everything and reinstall Windows option from within the Recovery module. The clean install can also be done creating media then a format and reinstall on the desired PC:

Ok. Do you know if the recovery option wipes all my drives or only the SSD that currently has Windows installed on it?

It should give you the choice during recovery. It will state just the OS drive or all.
