Remapping game controller

Hi,
How do i remap my joystick cuz its Y button which should be assigned as button 3 is assigned as button 5 ?

What make and model joystick? Do you have the User Guide/Manual?

Most joysticks come with some installation/driver software to allow you configure the buttons as necessary.

Buttons may also be configurable via the game or application.

The joysticks model is datafrog hjd-038 no driver software came with the gamepad and as i said i cant configure the buttons with a game or x360ce cuz the Y button is assingned as button 5 instead of button 3 so i need some software thats remaps they keys on the gamepad

You may need to try a variety of settings to get the joystick to map as you desire...

I have exactly the same problem. I have a arcade stick i need to remap a couple of buttons but windows 10 does not allow it anymore?

Mostly keyboard related but who knows what all might get slipped in via some update....
