Remote desktop like PcAnywhere

Hi, I need to be able to connect to my XP PRO or Server2003 machine and see
the desktop with applications I have left open. Like Excel workbook for
example. Right now if I login as myself using RDC I see a fresh desktop.
Using PCAnywhere I can login and see my active desktop, how do I achieve
that with RDC?

(P.S. is that what you mean by concurrent session? in which case as I
understand RDC can't do?)

Ok looks like if initiate RDC from Win2000 I can only login as concurrent
session (empty desktop). If I Login from XP/2003 I can see my open
applications.

Is this correct?

ok, further progress is made
mstsc /v:sevrver/console gets me in console mode...

but this doesn't work if I try to log into Windows Server 2000 SBS which
comes with Terminal services.

I'm not an expert on Server. However, for RDC, I would recommend "Changing
the way users log on/off" Ues the tradtitional longon (not the graphical one
that XP comes with by default). When I connect to RDC, I simply type in IP
and am connected to my current session that I had running, at which point my
computer locks at the console.

Only Windows 2003 or higher supports this (and technically XP, but XP
forces the console session as there are no other sessions).
