Remove cpu socket

Hey guys, could you recomend me some tools to remove the cpu cooler socket from my motherboard.

The most you should need to remove the mounting hardware for a CPU cooler is a phillips screwdriver. The CPU socket won't be removed. Some of the plastic or metal AROUND the CPU socket could be removed.

What is it you are trying to do that requires "some tools" ???

I am trying to mount a new liquid cooler but the cooler ends up not touching the cpu, there is a little gap.

What does the manual for the new cooler say you should do? Most of them have very detailed instructions. And generally you need only a phillips screwdriver.
