Remove Redundant Files from old Windows Drive?

I have been running a system with 2 Drives for about the last year. It started with only a 1tb HDD, and a few years later I added a 256gb SSD for Windows and programs. I never formatted the HDD before reinstalling windows on the new SSD and I now have old programs on my HDD that I can't seem to get rid of.

You see, I installed most programs to the SSD which I was afraid was wasting it's precious space, so I installed some current programs to my HDD. And I can no longer tell which programs are redundant on both drives, or which programs I still use from my HDD. Is there a program that can help with this?

Thank you, sorry for any confusion.

Piriform's Speccy and its resultant logs saved to your hard-drive just might provide you with enough infornation concerning presently active foreground and background programs and utilities, and I think their respective locations (SSD or HDD). It will take some Sherlock Holmes work to cough up a list of things to uninstall, delete, etc.
1. First of all, whenever you pose a query indicate what OS is involved. That info may have a bearing on any response you may receive. Capiche?

2. What do you mean "I now have old programs on my HDD that I can't seem to get rid of." Presumably these are programs that are no longer needed or wanted by you. Why can't you "get rid of" them like any other unwanted program?

I have programs that still run from the HDD. But I installed some new programs that I use on SSD that are also on the HDD. I do not know where they run from and which one I really need to delete.
Also, windows is installed on the SSD, but also on the HDD as I did not format the HDD before using the SSD as the C drive.
