I want to delete and add photos from an external storage
device on G-drive, but Windows XP won't allow it because
the device is "write protected." How do I reverse
the "write protected" status?

Hello,

You mighty try to check if your usb device on the side doen't have a switch
or a botton... mine as and with it in one position you can read/write/delete
with it in another posistion you can't delete from it...
