replace laptop wireless adapter. Toshiba satellite. AR9485

I have a 2012 Toshiba satellite s850. I had windows 10 on the machine, and today I replaced it with ubuntu 16. My wireless adapter no longer has a compatible driver with ubuntu, and I had issues with it when using windows, so I'm hoping to replace it all together. I currently have a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485. I'm thinking the AR9565 might be a good replacement as it is compatible with Ubuntu. Can I do this?

You will want to make sure you get a mini-pcie card and not a newer m2 one.

Any reason you want atheros and not the intel chips like the 6325 or 7260 which has dual band and bluetooth.

I ended up getting the intel 7260, which works perfectly. Its good as new. I'm very happy. Thanks for the advice.
