Replace psu?

p4 2.93ghz lga775
cpu cooler zalman 9700led
asus p5kc mobo
wd caviar green 500gb sataII hdd
palit 9800gt (overcloked)
3x1gb ddr2 667mhz
dvd-rw samsung
atx case+2x120mm fans
and my psu altis 550w
peak load 550w continous 488w
+12v1=20a and +12v2=20a
is it enough power for q8300 that im going to buy

It should be fine, believe it or not, that particular quad doesn't use much more power than your single core chip if at all.

In pure wattage terms, your PSU is fully capable to handle even much stronger quads with a good amount of overclocking applied..
