Hi, as the question indicates, i'm replacing my current WD Green 240GB SATA SSD with a new NVME M.2 500 gb (or 512) (i wanna put the SSD in my brother's pc and get a new NVME m.2 and put it in mine), i googled and found KingMax PQ3480 for 25$ which i can get from an online shop of a store located in my city, i also found PNY CS2230,GigaByte 2500E and also Lexar NM620 for the same price, then i saw that the PQ3480 has SLC technology (others were TLC) and as i heard it's better than TLC and QLC (idk i just heard that), the usage will be: Main Storage on my current build to install OS and maybe use the rest of it (380GB) for installing games and play games and maybe in future some video editing... light video editing lol
currnet build:
mb: Asus B450M-A
cpu: Ryzen 3400g
storage: 500GB WD HDD + 250 GB WD SSD (SSD will be sent to the lil brother)
2 questions:
1. does it worth to change the SSD to M.2 NVME in real life? or the performance is not really going to be felt? (forget the space different, im talking about the performance gain in game loadings or windows startup)
2. is the KingMax PQ3480 the best option for price below 29$? is there any other options i should look at? someone told me Lexar NM620 which i mentioned above, is better than kingmax, idk...
thanks
