I moved my pc in the NZXT phantom 410. Of course it comes with its own fans so the I ended up not connecting any rear chassis fan to the mother board. So I get "512 - Chassis Fan Not Detected". My first thought is to plug in the original from the case to see if it worked and it did. So I decided to buy this fan

This is the same fan as the other three in my case.
The problem is I still have this error come up... Any solutions?? I cant get into the bios and disable fan check because that setting doesnt exist in my bios settings

I'm having the same exact issue after movIng my dell vostro mobo into the phantom 410 case as well. If anybody could help out with this it would be greatly appreciated.

I would connect the original fan to the mobo but I don't have any way to mount the original rear fan as it is about 100 mm and the phantom case only supports 120 and above. Plus the wire for the OEM rear fan is short and doesn't have enough slack to be plugged in anywhere that is convenient or even remotely aesthetically pleasing.

It would be immensely helpful if anybody has a solution or work around to this problem. I keep getting a rear fan error message when booting up the pc but it still allows me to access windows by pressing F1 to continue

Ok I fixed it... what you need to do is trace back the wire for the rear fan and unplug it from the back side of the phantom and plug it in directly to your mobo.

Boom, no more rear fan error message and all the fans still work good. You just can't manually control the speed of the rear fan now (since it's connected to the mobo it will do that on its own)
