I have another computer, an HP Pavilion e9120y and my Pegatron M2N78-LA (Violet3-GL8E) motherboard recently went out, is there any cheaper replacements for it?? I looked online for that exact one and its pretty pricey, any suggestions for me??
You might be able to put a AM3 socket motherboard in there, you would have to make sure though that the case has a removable back plate because in alot of those proprietary cases they have it physically built into the case which means you would have to cut it out with tinsnips or use the exact same motherboard.
Otherwise i would stay away from biostar ive had them in the past and i dont trust the quality of those. 3 motherboards went out that ive had from them and the warranties on them suck.

well, actually, I recently looked that one up, would it be of better use if I supplied a picture of the back of the casing to my computer??
Yes that would help in my opinion because you should be able to tell if they built it as one unit or if it has a removable backplate for the motherboard.
