[SOLVED] Replacing bad hard drive queries

I've recently realised that my current hard drive is pretty awful and faulty, so I've ordered a new one to replace it. I have a few questions,

Do I just plug out the old drive, plug it in to my current one, and insert my USB after, boot it up and install Windows?

After the installation of Windows, will I need to install the motherboard bios thingies, the drivers, chipset etc etc?

Will I view any improvements upgrading from this https://www.scan.co.uk/products/1tb-seagate-guardian-barracuda-hdd-25-7mm-form-factor-sata-iii-6gb-s-128mb-cache-5400rpm?gclid=Cj0KCQiAoo7gBRDuARIsANeJKUbHdcJBFc4XMiKXNDv4xlWdLC0xPeMNDHmBWKQnKulMtllJjzITeb4aAqiREALw_wcB to https://www.amazon.co.uk/WD-TB-PC-Hard-Drive/dp/B0088PUEPK?

I'll also list my specs if it helps

GTX 1060 6GB
Gigabyte Z370P D3
8GB DDR4 2066mhz single stick

Thanks for the help, jss
