Replacing drive in Raid5 array

Hello all,

I had a drive fail in my Raid 5 array in a dell power vault MD1000

This is the current drive that is in there:

And this is the drive I have to replace it:

Will that be alright? As I understand the biggest potential issue is that the drive will be slightly smaller than the one in there. What happens if I put it in and thats the case?

This should be fine. Isn't it recommend to run drives by different manufactures in a RAID anyway?
