Alright so I have got myself a new motherboard, I have experience with other components but I have never replaced a motherboard before, so what I am doing is taking parts from my old one and buying some new parts and putting them all into my new motherboard, the question I have is:
Is there anything I need to know or do before changing out the motherboard? I am keeping my old hard drive, will I need to re-install windows? If so will I be able to install it via USB like normal or will I need to use a disc for this?

Thanks in advance.

If you have an OEM license of windows 7 or below it will be void if you change the motherboard and you will have to buy a new license. Either way you have to reinstall windows and all programs.
