EDIT : I have found similar threads regarding this matter BUT I am still not sure as to what processes/steps to follow and I do not want to mix and match from different guides as it may screw up my system so any proper full guide in relation to my specific topic would be much appreciated

So I recently bought a Samsung 840 Evo SSD which comes with a migration software which allows me to clone my data including the OS onto it without having to reinstall anything, my only problem is that after cloning the data onto that SSD from my original drive, I end up replacing one of the HDD ( theres 2 298 GB sized drives in the laptop) which then leads to me only being able to use the SSD and not being able to utilise the spare HDD still inside my laptop

Dxdiag of my system:

Well as far as I know its part of a RAID volume which is the way it came from the beginning so me removing one of them seems to make the volume fail so I'm guessing the only option is to clone my data from my HDD to my SSD which is externally linked to my laptop and then delete(?) the RAID volume so I can use my drives separately?

The reason why you can't access the RAID disk could be some sort of protection mechanism. Because 1 drive failed, the other is kept offline untill redundancy can be achieved again. Try to access the raid configuration and see if you can do anything there.

You likely have a RAID 0 installation so one HDD will not work w/o the other. You would have to go into the BIOS and switch your SATA Mode to AHCI (from RAID) and reformat the HDD to be able to use it. All data on the drive will be lost if you do this!

It not too late to turn back. You can uninstall the SSD, return the original HDD and reestablish the RAID array. In this way you can back up your data to another drive before formatting, which will result in loss of data.
