Hey folks,
Preparing for new ryzen 3600 build on b450 motherboard along with 1080ti founders edition. Current build has a green cx600
That worked for me on two builds till now.
I know some find it crazy but it survived enough. Now my real problem is where I am living a decent PSU is at least 150$ that is even if found and most power supplies here are bronze at best or even just 80+ or worse Chinese companies like gamaxx ordering online is also costing around 150$ for the gold rated ones.should I keep it for a while?
What is best budget selections for my build?

Regards

Found bitfinix formula gold 650 and the cheaper option is thermal take smart 650

nope dont use those get EVGA G2/G3, corsair TX/HX/RM/RMx or Seasonic focus/focus plus
also where in the KSA if you live in al-khobar or near it you can visit Dossary tower, its pretty much a place for computer parts you can look around there.

also dont cheap out on your psu especially with a 1080 Ti on board.

its a good PSU, non modular tho. never seen one my self or have known anyone who uses a GD model but taking a glance at a tier list it sits pretty high up there so that should be good for your build.

Ain't nothing wrong with the BitFenix Formula Gold. This is about the 750W, but they're all on the same CWT GPS platform.

http://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2017/11/20/bitfenix-formula-gold-750w-power-supply/6/
Online shops + shipping the bitfinix is nearly similar price to evga "650w vs 700w (evga)"
Both non modular however the 750w version of bitfinix formula and the 650w of bitfinix whisper are both indeed modular.

Just would like to avoid any warranty issues. I need something that is 99% will last at least for a year before I beg for a replacement xD
As I keep reading reviews my stomach aches yes mostly they rma the product and get replacements but sometimes it causes burn.
I really feel amazed how my current PSU is surviving but I feel weird like is it ok to even sell it if it is not that good ?

Any PSU, no matter how good, can fail. Customer reviews are usually complaints, so not a good indicator - more popular PSUs will inevitably have more comments about how their PSU failed. Consumer reviews for PSUs are essentially worthless.

As for reselling, ethically, I would not when speaking for myself. I would personally never sell a product of quality less than I would use, but I'm in media, not retail, so it's not something that comes up often.

Guys, I did not buy yet xD am hesitant. I found a guy selling seasonic gold focus 750 fm(semi mod)
around 138$. So options now :
1-bitfinix formula ( I like it from reviews but no actual reviews on amazon)
2-evga 700 gd
both around 128$ , both will be from Amazon.com
3-corsair rm850x ( looks like v1) 154$ ( local shop with shop warranty)
4-seasonic focus gold 750 138$ ( a person selling it as new, though not sure how to transfere warranty)

am not using dual gpu but planning to overclock the ryzen 3600 and the 1080ti (slightly as it's refrence)

Regards
