Question Replacing Thermal paste RTX 3080

I want to replace the thermal paste on the RTX 3080 OC Trinity (ZOTAC). At home, I have Mastergel Regular... Is it good enough or should I buy a better one?

Also, I was given this info by an AI... and I would appreciate it if someone could confirm if it's relevant

id personally not use mastergel as ive found its longevity isnt that great i had the paste in a syringe for a day and it was brick hard the next. for context other pastes

MX-6 which is 7.5 i find spreads better then pastes like kryonaut also you would not spread this paste yourself the heatsink with press down on it when its all assembled as the die is extremely fragile unlike a cpu this has no heat spreader so do not apply to much pressure removing the old paste of the gpu or you can crack the die​

Make sure the thermal pads are clean too, although the card is fairly knew, you never know until you check.

There is a paste on pads too? My old 2080 had no paste on pads.. that's new to me

No,no, there isnt any paste on the thermal pads, i mean just see if the thermal pads are dirty/there is any built up dust on them.
Look at the before and after on my Vega 64 for example:
