I use it because it's non-contract, unlimited data (Full speed up to 2.5 GB), and unlimited text. It costs $35 a month. Only get 300 minutes of calling though. And service isn't that great. Have you checked out straight talk yet? I know you said ATT's network sucks where you are, but if you only need better service at your house, you can always get a microcell, and have someone you know with ATT just add it to their account (no cost or hassle to them at all except the initial add)
Then youll have have a MUCH better selection of phones to choose from, and the nexus 4 just came out for only $300-350
