Interesting that Microsoft is blaming their partners for their first tablet's failure. Instead, they should be looking to themselves.

Microsoft Tablet came up with a great input mechanism that other Microsoft products of Microsoft fought tooth and nail against working with. The head of Microsoft Office even said that their users will never use anything other than mice and keyboards. This internal Microsoft strife crippled Microsoft Tablet's ability to succeed.

Yeah.... cause Vista shipped out SP2 on day 1. Wait, no , it was about 2 years before SP2 came out in which Windows7 was released soon after.

Again, you expect everyone to have a top notch computer... to do the same thing that a cheaper computer with an older OS can do just as well.

Yeah Lathe26: Microsoft had 10+ years to perfect the tablet form-factor... as usual, MS is a follower, not a leader. Other than their legal department.
