Don't care about the 700 series as it isn't a big update but a price drop in the 600 series or even amd dropping their prices further would be really nic

I am really hoping they won't charge more than $600 for the GTX 780 but I'm not betting on it.

$499 for the 780 would be ok, it's the same as the 680 when it came out. $599 would just be ridiculous though

The Titan only outperforms the GTX680 ASUS DC2T card by about 25% (on average). It wouldn't take much to nearly match the Titan.
Imagine paying $1200 for a Titan a short time before a $550 780 variant is released with 90% of its performance..

that is Nvidia's biggest issue. they ass pulled on the Titan and made it look like the uber awesome special card that probably won't be surpassed in 1 generation. in fact, I think this is why they're releasing a kepler refresh as the 700 series. if 780 was Maxwell, the people who spend $1.2K on the Titan would be so pissed...
